Daily Prompt: Muse

via Daily Prompt: Mus

Slight and frighted,  bones of iron

Bent and troubled,  throat of gold

Arthritic hands, your joints are tired

But you dance with seductive winds

Spider veins tattoo your calves

Your vanity it gnaws and aches

A zealot with myopic eyes

Your breastbone is an armored plate

Frailty lingers in your feelings

Casted in your copper shell

So I hide mine, in time in silver

For mother mine, you taught me well.
